Swimming sports

On the 22nd of March Rimu house walked down to Memorial Pools to do swimming sports. I spent the day helping out. I mostly gave out popsicle sticks for people that placed third. The color of the sticks I gave out were purple. The purple ones meant third place the red popsicle sticks meant first place green popsicle meant second place and the ones that I gave out were purple third place.
The races were 25 free, 25m, breaststroke, doggie paddle, dolphin dive and much much more. My favorite event to watch was the class relay because room 42 won. The highlight of my day was when my class came first in the class relays.  At the end of all the events everyone were aloud to have a fun swim and play pool games with our friends!
It was a great day I had so much fun!.

My first month at T.I.S

I have been at Tauranga intermediate for a month now. I enjoy being a year 8.  I’ve just finish netball trials for next term also i’m a kiwi volley ball referee. Rimu house selected the house leaders for this year they are Lachlan and Jessica. They couldn’t decide between Damian or Lachlan so Lachlan is the real house leader and Damian is the student leader.  I also have learnt a lot more in maths like square rooting and BEDMAS (Brackets, exponents, division, multiplication, addition, and subtraction.)
Its been a good year so far I can't wait till the rest of it to come!.
